About me

I am a Commercial Fieldwork Project Officer and Human Osteologist for PCAS Archaeology, working on sites around England and analysing skeletal assemblages ranging from the Iron Age to Medieval. I also work with Operation Nightingale (MoD), where I continue to help veterans in their road to recovery through archaeology, excavating Bronze Age barrows, Anglo-Saxon cemeteries, prison hulk burials, and World War II Nissen hut foundations.

I graduated with a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Western Washington University in the United States, before working as an assistant Forensic Anthropologist and Repatriation Technician for a local Native tribe. I worked with the DPAA in Europe before receiving my M.Sc. in Forensic Anthropology and Bioarchaeology from UCL, with a master's dissertation on the comparison of treatment, burial, and internment practices of PoW camps in the second World War.

I have led fieldwork in Europe, Georgia, and the UK, teaching fieldwork techniques and osteology to students, veterans, volunteers and members of Police forces. My research interests include forensic archaeology, rehabilitation archaeology, conflict archaeology, and dental anthropology.
